Sea War Museum
Sea War Museum Jutland displays the history of Maritime Warfare in the North Sea during World War 1.
The museum’s many renovated wreck finds creates the basis for a great number of personal tales, including the story of history’s greatest naval battle. The German High Seas Fleet and the British Grand Fleet clashed on 1st May and 1st June 1916-25 warships were sunk and 8,645 sailors perished. In the dunes outside the museum you can visit the Memorial Park for the Battle of Jutland.
