Skulpturparken Blokhus Is Denmark’s largest open-air sculpture exhibition. The more than 20,000 m2 park contains sculptures made from materials such as sand, tree, stone, granite, iron, metal and bronze. The park is designed with cosy sensory gardens, beautiful plants and also offers plenty of fun activities.
The Kulturhuset café or orangerie offers a wide selection of food and drink, but you can also bring your own picnic basket if you prefer. The themes of the Sculpture Festival, which can be viewed from 1 May, are as follows:
- Sand Sculpture Festival: ”The Greatest Heroes”
- Concrete Sculpture Festival: ”Wonders of the Sea”
- Tree Sculpture Festival: „Woodland Animals“.
From 1 November until Christmas, you can enjoy North Jutland‘s most magically decorated park with miles of Christmas lights and decorations etc.
