Sea War Museum Jutland is an international museum focusing on the naval war in the North Sea during World War I and is as such a world leader. It is the only museum that deals in detail with the largest naval battle in world history, the Battle of Jutland, which took place off the west coast of Jutland in 1916. It is also the only museum that has conducted a long series of expeditions in the North Sea in order to collect artifacts from the naval war 1914-1918.
Sea War Museum Jutland has the world's largest collection of German naval guns from World War I and is also the museum with the most exhibitions about submarines. In the dunes outside the museum, you can visit the Memorial Park for the Battle of Jutland.
